Welcome to the Horizon 100 Cycling Club

Welcome to Horizon 100 Cycling Club, a Saskatchewan Cycling Association member club, supported by Sask. Sport. We are a dynamic road riding club with roots and an ever-growing membership in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Our goal is to develop and support the local and provincial cycling community. The focus is on helping beginners achieve the fitness and skills to ride at the group pace, in an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere. Club rides are generally divided into three different paces that you can choose depending on your level, along with two different distances.

Do you need a winter fitness plan?

Well, winter has arrived, including (finally) snow. So how to prepare for the up coming biking season. Here are a few ideas:

1. Stop by our sponsoring bicycle stores and get outfitted to bike through the winter. The bike store carry such important items as studded bicycle tires, bicycle lights, and winter cycling clothing. You don't need to stop cycling just because it is winter.

2. Ok, maybe riding outside in -30 is not your thing, but there is Sunday night rides at the field house.

3. Stop by our sponsoring bicycle stores, many carry cross country skis to enjoy the winter weather on (and bicycle trainers).

4. Brainsport has a free running club Wednesday evening at 6PM and Saturday mornings at 8:30AM. They have many different speed groups from the top marathon runners up to walking only.

5. U of S Masters Swim Club and Saskatoon Masters swim club.
