We hosted this event for the first time in 2022 and repeated it in 2023. By popular demand we will be doing this Lumsden – Qu’Appelle Valley Tour again in 2024! It will take place on Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th, 2024. The dates are now firm, and some details have changed from last year (2023). The web pages and links are up to date.
Registration: After you’ve read the details below if you would like to register for this event then please indicate your interest in riding by emailing a message to communications@horizon100.com. Please put “SER-2024” in the subject and indicate whether you intend to do both the Saturday and Sunday rides or just one of the days. There is no charge. Please register early so that the organizers will have a better idea of the expected turnout for planning purposes.
Start Time: 9:30am (both Saturday June 8th, and Sunday June 9th)
Start Location: Lumsden Historical Museum, 50 Qu’Appelle Drive West

Saturday Ride (Summary: ride from Lumsden to Craven, Craven North, Northwest to Silton, Silton NW to Hwy 220, West to Rowan’s Ravine Prov. Park for lunch & refreshments, return to Lumsden.)
Sunday Ride (Summary: ride to Over the Hill Orchard corner, continue east to Erdman Farm, turnaround and ride back, up the short steep hill to the Orchard for refreshments and back to Lumsden)

Lumsden-Qu’Appelle Information
Participants may do 1 or 2 days of riding and are free to turn around at any point and return. It is not necessary to do the entire ride. A Support Vehicle will accompany riders.
Some may wish to drive in on Friday evening with accommodation overnight so as to be all set to go for the Saturday ride start at the Lumsden Museum, and some may choose to drive in from Saskatoon very early on Saturday morning (~2.5 hour drive, 230 km).

Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodations for the Friday and/or Saturday night and are encouraged to reserve these ASAP.
